Project Description

Development history of urban heating industry in China

China’s winter heating areas mainly include Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Beijing, Tianjin and northwestern Shaanxi, northern Shandong, and northern Henan. The urban heating business in the winter heating area has gone through three stages. The first stage is the urban heating start stage. At that time, the thermal power plant was mainly used for industrial production steam, and the building heating load was very small and mainly used in factory office buildings, workshops, staff quarters, etc. The second stage is the cogeneration development stage. Under the strong impetus of reform and opening-up, China’s urban central heating has ushered in an important development in the 1970s and 1990s, and the urban central heating industry, which is dominated by cogeneration, has continued to thrive. The third stage is the regional boiler room development stage. From the end of the 1990s to the present, it is a rapid development stage for centralized heating of large-scale regional boiler houses. During this period, Harbin, Changchun, Shenyang, Hohhot, Baotou, Xi’an, Lanzhou, Qingdao, Tai’an and Dalian have successively built large-scale regional boiler houses with a total capacity of 300-500 tons/hour, with a stand-alone capacity of 90-150. t/h.
